Apple Turkey Burger

Apple Turkey Burgers

This ground turkey recipe is moist and has a hint of apple flavor. The Apple Turkey Burger is a nice alternative to standard hamburger for the health conscious.
1 lb    lean ground turkey  
1/2 cup    apple sauce  
2 Tbs    onion, finely chopped  
2 Tbs    red or green pepper, finely chopped  
3/4 tsp    salt  
1/8 tsp    ground white pepper  

1 Spray broiler or frying pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2 Combine the turkey, apple sauce, bell pepper, salt, and white pepper.
3 Shape mixture into 6 patties.
4 Broil or fry about 5 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Servings: 6
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 20 minutes
